How the stipend is paid
For Graduate Apprentice categories, ₹6,150 of the monthly stipend is payable by the Government through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), according to the notification details. This amount is part of the stated stipend, not an additional payment on top of it. The listed stipend should therefore be read as the total monthly amount for the applicable category.
The notice sets out stipend amounts but does not list separate allowances such as dearness allowance, house rent allowance, bonus or a regular employee pay scale. Candidates should not assume these apply to the apprenticeship. The engagement is for structured workplace training under the Apprentices Act, and completing the programme does not guarantee permanent or temporary employment with NLC India.
