Lok Jagruti Kendra University, commonly known as LJ University or LJKU, is a private university in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, established in 2019. It grew from Lok Jagruti Kendra, a charitable trust and registered society founded in 1980 by academicians and public-minded professionals. The sponsoring organization developed a network of higher-education institutions in Ahmedabad from the early 1980s before bringing many of them together within a university framework.
