JEE Main 2027 Application Form Correction: Dates and Editable Details
NTA has announced the correction window for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 in its Information Bulletin. Candidates can make permitted changes to a submitted application from November 27 to November 29, 2026, until 11:50 p.m. The facility is one-time, and the precise fields that can be edited will be listed on the official website when the correction window goes live.
The bulletin does not promise that every application detail can be changed. It says candidate information is treated as final after submission, but a one-time correction facility will be provided for fields enabled by NTA. Do not rely on editable-field lists from previous JEE Main sessions; check the live 2027 instructions before making changes.

Which details can candidates edit?
The 2027 bulletin does not yet name the specific editable fields. It says the operative list will be published on the NTA website when the correction window opens. The application collects details such as candidate information, contact and address details, category, gender, disability status, educational qualifications and examination-city preferences. Their appearance on the application form does not mean each item will be editable during correction.
Candidates should review their submitted form and supporting documents now. When the window opens, compare each entry with the official records you used to apply. If the portal enables a field that needs correction, update it and review the complete form before final submission. Keep the confirmation or updated application copy for your records.
Important instructions
- Use the application number and password created during registration to access your account.
- Make corrections only through the official online portal. NTA says it will not accept correction requests sent by post, fax, WhatsApp, email or by hand.
- Submit changes before 11:50 p.m. on November 29. Do not wait until the final minutes.
- The bulletin warns that multiple application forms will not be accepted and may lead to cancellation of the result.
- For PwD/PwBD applicants, the bulletin specifically says UDID validation issues can be corrected during the notified correction window; no such claims will be entertained after it closes.
Check NTA’s notice and the live correction page for the final list of editable fields and any additional instructions. The correction window is a limited opportunity, so save proof of any submitted change and verify that the portal reflects it.
