Monad University is a state private university in Hapur district, Uttar Pradesh, established under U.P. State Government Act No. 23 of 2010. The act was published in the official gazette on 12 October 2010, and the state issued an authorization letter on 11 January 2011, after which the university began operations. It is recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. The university operates from the Delhi-Hapur Road corridor near Pilkhuwa and has developed as a multidisciplinary campus serving the National Capital Region.
