The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh is a state private university located at the HIMUDA Education Hub in the Baddi-Barotiwala region of Solan district. It was established under the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2011, passed by the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly on 17 June 2011. The university is sponsored by the ICFAI Society, a not-for-profit educational society established in 1984. The university forms part of the wider ICFAI network but operates under its own Himachal Pradesh statute and governance structure. The institution operates as a state private university within the wider ICFAI education network. 17 June 2011 — Himachal Pradesh passed the Act establishing the ICFAI University in the state. Current phase — ICFAI University Himachal Pradesh continues multidisciplinary professional education from the Baddi region.
