Haridwar University is a state private university on the Roorkee-Haridwar corridor in Uttarakhand. The campus traces its academic roots to Roorkee College of Engineering, established in 2010 under Satyam Education Society. The university itself was created later through the Haridwar University Act, 2022, enacted as Uttarakhand Act No. 16 of 2023, so the earlier college history and the statutory university date are distinct parts of the institution's development.
