Applicants should start on the live program page, as the language, semester start, academic prerequisites and selection rules vary. Students with German qualifications usually apply through the FranCa portal. International students with qualifications issued outside Germany apply through the uni-assist route designated by the university. International qualifications may necessitate a specific credential-review route. For master’s applicants, module descriptions can be requested so that the responsible committee can compare prior courses with the degree of choice. Admission is not the same as enrolment: an admitted applicant still needs to complete the document, health-insurance and payment steps mentioned in the offer. Doctoral study is either faculty, graduate school or cooperative in nature and involves an appropriate project and academic supervision.
Regular consecutive programs generally are tuition-free. For winter 2026/27 the university publishes 406.78 € for continuing students and 416.78 € for new students, for whom a 10 € Study Chip charge is included in the payment. There are still possible exceptions for particular courses, especially for professional, continuing education, joint or cooperative study. Students should, therefore, budget for costs in addition to the published institutional charge for housing, insurance, learning materials, travel, and any program-specific costs. The funding can be provided through BAföG if you meet the requirements, the Deutschlandstipendium, foundations, mobility grants, project employment or doctoral support. However, every funding has its own application and selection process.
Career preparation is reflective of the academic profile of the university and is not a guarantee of placement. Students can access partners from the Rhine-Main economy in the fields of finance, logistics, construction, IT, health, public services and the social sector. Students can improve outcomes through internships, practical projects, research assistantships, employer events, entrepreneurship support, international experience and early use of career counselling. Frankfurt UAS draws students seeking applied study in a major international city with strong employer and civic linkages. Before applying, applicants with the most impressive academic track record will compare curriculum, language of instruction, entry criteria, and location to their own academic background.
