That year also saw the launch of Srinivas Institute of Hotel Management, beginning a wider expansion into professional higher education in coastal Karnataka. Over subsequent decades the group developed institutions in engineering, management, medicine, nursing, physiotherapy and other disciplines. UGC review and compliance processes have formed part of the university’s regulatory development as its academic scale increased. The institution’s quality systems later included accreditation activity alongside continued expansion of programs and research. SRINIVAS UNIVERSITY operates within Karnataka's private higher-education system and serves learners from the Mangaluru region as well as other parts of India. Its current statutory university structure dates from 2015, while its academic profile continues to develop through programs, facilities, research and institutional partnerships.
