Sri Sri University is a state private university near Cuttack, Odisha, created through the Sri Sri University Act, 2009 and envisioned under the guidance of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The university occupies a large green campus near the Cuttack-Bhubaneswar urban region and was conceived as a multidisciplinary institution combining contemporary education with values, wellness and knowledge traditions from India. The project took shape in 2006 through discussions and a memorandum between the sponsoring trust and the Government of Odisha.
