JG University is a state private university in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, established with approval in 2019 under the Gujarat Private Universities framework. It is sponsored by the ASIA Charitable Trust, formally associated with the Ahmedabad South Indian Association. The trust was established in 1965 and built a substantial education network in Ahmedabad before sponsoring the university, including schools and colleges offering commerce, business, computing, law, education, nursing, physiotherapy and performing-arts programmes.
