JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 Toppers: Four Candidates Score 100 Percentile
The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the final JEE Main 2026 Paper 2A and Paper 2B scores on May 5. Its result notice lists four candidates with a perfect NTA score of 100.0000000 across the two papers: two in B.Arch and two in B.Planning.
The figures correct reports that named only two perfect scorers across all of Paper 2. NTA’s official list shows separate toppers for Paper 2A and Paper 2B. Candidates who appeared in both sessions were ranked using their better NTA score from January and April, as per the published result policy.

What the scores mean
NTA scores are normalized scores based on candidates’ relative performance in a particular examination shift. They are not the percentage of questions answered correctly or a direct percentage of raw marks. The NTA result notice describes the scores as a scale from 0 to 100 for each shift.
Paper 2A is the JEE Main paper for B.Arch admission. It combines Mathematics and Aptitude Test in computer-based mode with a Drawing Test conducted offline. Paper 2B is for B.Planning and is conducted in computer-based mode, covering Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Planning.
The top-score list is distinct for each paper. A 100 percentile in B.Arch is a Paper 2A result; a 100 percentile in B.Planning is a Paper 2B result. Applicants should check their own scorecards for the paper they took and use the NTA score and rank relevant to that course.

NTA reported 94,513 candidates registered for B.Arch and 67,139 appeared across the 2026 examination sessions. For B.Planning, 45,729 registered and 30,050 appeared. Candidates should consult the official result notice for the complete top-ten lists, category-wise tables and examination statistics.
