Mahakaushal University is a state private university at Aithakheda near Tilwara in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The University Grants Commission records 13 January 2021 as its establishment date, and the sponsoring body is Shri R.S. Educational Society. The university developed from an existing education base that included Radhaswami Institute of Technology, established by the same society in Jabalpur in 2008 and later made a constituent unit of the university. The institution is multidisciplinary, with faculties and programmes across engineering, business management, arts and social sciences, computer science, science, law, pharmacy, agriculture, yoga, fire safety and hazard management, library science, design, hotel management, veterinary-related diploma education and other applied fields. Study options extend from certificates and diplomas to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The breadth of this academic structure gives Mahakaushal University a strong professional and skills-oriented character alongside conventional university disciplines. Mahakaushal University's 2021 statutory phase allowed the sponsoring society to place earlier technical-education experience within a broader university framework. Radhaswami Institute of Technology became a constituent unit while new faculties, research pathways and academic governance developed around the Aithakheda campus. The university's model emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, practical training and career-oriented programmes, with modern computing, engineering, agriculture, law and safety-related fields appearing alongside humanities and sciences. Its institutional history is therefore rooted in the transition from a 2008 technical institute to a multidisciplinary private university established in 2021. The university's academic range includes unusual applied areas such as fire safety, hazard management and veterinary-related diploma education. Radhaswami Institute of Technology provides a clear pre-university institutional lineage for the Jabalpur campus. UGC records 13 January 2021 as Mahakaushal University's establishment date. Engineering programmes extend from diploma and undergraduate study through postgraduate and research levels. Professional-expansion phase — Pharmacy, agriculture and applied safety programmes widened the programme portfolio.
