Program level management of admission. If you have German qualifications, you’ll apply through Jade eCampus, if you are an international student, you’ll apply through uni-assist before the international deadline. You can see how to apply and what the campus contribution will be on each course page. Applicants should check the teaching language, entry semester, subject requirements, selection process and document route before applying. International School or University Qualifications External evaluation, certified translations, APS documentation where applicable or other proof of academic equivalence may be required. Master’s committees may ask for module descriptions, portfolios, writing samples, professional experience, or interviews. Entry to a doctorate is distinct from admission to a bachelors or masters degree and generally requires a viable research proposal, eligible supervision and formal acceptance by the relevant faculty.
There’s no general tuition for regular degree study. The published contributions for the winter semester 2026/27 are €434.80 for Wilhelmshaven and Oldenburg and €427.80 for Elsfleth; fee-paying online and further education courses publish separate totals. These institutional fees exclude rent, health insurance, food, learning materials, residence formalities, project costs or personal travel. Special tuition may be applied in the case of continuing-education, distance-learning, joint, second-degree or long-term study formats, if provided for by the relevant law or program regulation. Funding may include BAföG for eligible students, the Deutschlandstipendium, DAAD and Erasmus+ mobility support, foundations, research employment or university-specific awards, but each funding application is assessed independently from admission
The career preparation is a function of the subject mix at the university and not a guarantyd placement scheme.” Ports, shipping companies, engineering firms, energy projects, construction practices, geospatial agencies, hearing-technology businesses, tourism organisations and regional public bodies are helpful in the practical study. Internships, applied projects, research assistantships, employer events, language development, entrepreneurship services, international mobility and an externally partnered thesis help students enhance their employability. undefined
