Erfurt University of Applied Sciences (Erfurt UAS) Summary
This master file contains the 14 undergraduate entries and 12 postgraduate entries that make up the course portfolio, with the subject combinations, where appropriate, under their parent degrees. Some examples of undergraduate courses are Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban and Spatial Planning, Building Services and Energy Technology, Applied Computer Science, Business Administration and later Horticulture, Forestry and Ecosystem Management, Conservation and Landscape Management. Postgraduate courses include Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban and Spatial Planning, Building and Energy Systems, Software Engineering, Business Management, Childhood Education, Landscape Architecture, Forestry and Ecosystem Management. Individual courses still qualify the parent and specializations are recorded as part of the course record rather than being misrepresented as separate degrees. Dual, cooperative, online, part-time, and practice-integrated variants are retained within the relevant parent qualification and not counted as separate degrees.
Admission controlled by program. Applicants use the university's online application system, selected restricted bachelor's degrees are coordinated through Hochschulstart, many foreign qualifications are processed by uni-assist and portfolio, practical, dual or master's subject requirements vary by program. Before submission applicants must check the teaching language, the entry semester, the subject prerequisites, the selection procedure and the document route. International school or university qualifications may require external evaluation, certified translations, APS documentation for applicable countries or additional evidence of academic equivalence. Master’s committees may ask you to provide module descriptions, portfolios, writing samples, professional experience or attend an interview. Admission to the doctoral program is separate from admission to the bachelor’s or master’s programs and usually requires a feasible research proposal, appropriate supervision and formal acceptance by the responsible faculty.
The standard contribution for winter 2026/27 is €333.80. This includes €95 for student services, €229.80 for the Germany ticket with cultural access and €9 for student representation. The first enrollment or re-issuance can be applied for the €20 thoska card charge. These institutional fees do not cover rent, health insurance, food, learning materials, residence formalities, project costs, or personal travel. If provided for by relevant law or program regulation, special tuition may apply to continuing-education, distance-learning, joint, second-degree or long-term study formats. Funding may be available through BAföG for eligible students, the Deutschlandstipendium, DAAD and Erasmus+ mobility funding, Foundations, Research employment or university specific awards. However, each funding application is assessed independently from admission.
Career preparation is a reflection of the university’s subject mix and is not a guarantyd placement scheme. The state capital and central German transport corridor offer practice environments in government, rail, construction, planning, energy, software, logistics, social services, education, forestry, landscape and food-production. Students may gain professional experience via internships, applied projects, research assistantships, employer events, language training, entrepreneurship services, international mobility and an externally partnered thesis.
