This master file comprises the course portfolio. There are 7 undergraduate entries and 6 postgraduate entries. Subject combinations have been combined where appropriate under their parent degrees. Undergraduate examples include Painting, Sculpture, Stage and Costume Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, Textile and Material Design Later entries include Product Design, Textile and Material Design, Visual Communication. Postgraduate studies include: Fashion Design, Product Design, Textile and Material Design, Visual Communication, Art Therapy, Spatial Strategies to Visual Communication, Art Therapy, Spatial Strategies. Each course remains a parent qualification with specialisations entered within the course entry and not misrepresented as separate degrees. Painting, Sculpture and Stage and Costume Design are four-year Diplom programs; the four design areas follow the four-year undergraduate and two-year graduate model, while Art Therapy and Spatial Strategies are advanced fee-based Master's programs.
Admission is regulated at program level. The program has a published application window, and applicants submit a portfolio and undertake an aptitude examination or selection process. Transfer, master’s and international routes have different documentation and language requirements. Applicants must confirm the language of instruction, the semester of entry, the subject requirements, the selection process and the document route before submission. International School or University Qualifications External evaluation, certified translations, APS documentation where applicable or other proof of academic equivalence may be required. The institutional charges do not include rent, health insurance, food, learning materials, residence formalities, project costs and personal travel. If provided for by the relevant law or program regulation, special tuition may be provided for continuing-education, distance-learning, joint, second-degree, or long-term study formats.
