Radha Govind University is a newly established private university near Chandausi in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh, developed from the Radha Govind Group of educational institutions. The wider group traces its technical and management education activity to the early 2000s, with its own institutional materials identifying 2003 as the establishment of the Moradabad-area education initiative and 2009 as the beginning of the Chandausi-based group associated with Engineer Pawan Sharma. The state formally recognized the university project in 2025. Before university status, the Radha Govind network operated professional institutions in technology, polytechnic education, industrial training, pharmacy, teacher education, law and medical or paramedical fields. This created a multidisciplinary base for the later university near Akroli Chowraha on Bilari Road, around eight kilometres from Chandausi. University materials list departments spanning management, pharmacy, engineering and technology, computer science, science, agriculture, arts, commerce, nursing, biotechnology, hotel management, yoga and journalism. The university is intended to expand higher education in the Sambhal–Chandausi region while also linking its public identity to the cultural heritage of the area. Because the institution is very new, its most reliable history is the progression from the older Radha Govind college network to state recognition and university organization rather than a long sequence of university-era milestones. Its developing structure brings previously separate professional fields into a single private-university framework with undergraduate, postgraduate and research ambitions. The wider Radha Govind education initiative traces institutional activity to 2003. The Chandausi-based Radha Govind Group identifies 2009 as a key founding point. The predecessor network includes technology and polytechnic education. Pharmacy, teacher education and law were established before university status. Medical and paramedical education also form part of the wider group. The Uttar Pradesh government recognized the Radha Govind University project in 2025. Its departments span management, technology, science, agriculture, arts, commerce and health-related fields.
