Dresden International University (DIU) Summary
This master file shows the course portfolio with entries for 5 undergraduate courses and 6 postgraduate courses. Undergraduate courses include Dental Hygiene, Emergency Paramedic, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Osteopathy. You can do a postgraduate in Clinical Research, Preventive and Functional Medicine, Medical Law, Multiple Sclerosis Management, Periodontology and Implant Therapy, Communication Psychology and Management. Each entry retains the official parent credential, and specifies pathways or concentrations within the area of specialisation rather than expanding them into separate degrees. Where the institution does not award doctorates itself, the record only details credible cooperative doctoral research routes and states formal admission is to a doctoral awarding partner.
DIU uses direct application of programs and counselling. As a rule, admission to bachelor’s programs requires a recognised university entrance qualification. Many professional bachelor’s and master’s programs also require prior health qualifications, professional experience or first degree credits in a specific area. Before applying, applicants should check the program page for the exact intake, language of instruction, academic prerequisites, selection method and document route. International certificates may require certified translations, proof of equivalency, APS documentation for the relevant countries or other language proof. Module descriptions, credit information, professional experience, a portfolio, a motivation statement or an interview may be required by Master’s committees. The admission to Doctoral Programs is separate from the admission to Bachelors and Masters Programs and depends on a suitable topic, supervision, funding and formal acceptance by the Award University .
Fees differ by program (e.g. current masters are priced at between €648- €1,195 per month plus €500 thesis fee; Clinical Research is listed at €895 per month with deposit arrangement of €9,000). The quoted tuition fee normally does not include accommodation, food, health insurance, deposits for accommodation, personal travel or other miscellaneous project expenses. Applicants will be subject to the live fee schedule and signed study contract. Funding can be received by eligible students in the form of BAföG, the Deutschlandstipendium (where available), DAAD or Erasmus+ mobility funding, foundations, sponsorship from employers, education funds or paid research and student-assistant work. Each award is considered independently of admission.
Career preparation mirrors the university, clinical, engineering, research, public-service and technology landscape of Dresden and is not a guarantyd placement service. Clinical blocks, hospital and professional placements, online seminars, laboratory and engineering projects, international partner teaching, practice transfer and workplace-linked theses all contribute to strengthening students’ employability. Alumni and professional networks can offer mentoring, sector insight and contacts, but are not liable for each student’s applications and career decisions. The institution is particularly relevant for applicants interested in specialised continuing study, small professional cohorts, blended or online delivery and access to the TU Dresden academic environment, provided that their prior education, language evidence, study format and financing are matching the current program conditions.
