NEET PG Response Sheet 2026
Along with the NEET PG answer key, candidates are also interested in their recorded responses.
A response sheet or candidate-response display allows applicants to compare the options they selected during the examination with the answers published by NBEMS.
This can help candidates understand:
Which questions they answered correctly
Which questions were incorrect
Which questions were left unanswered
Marks awarded according to the evaluation scheme
Their overall examination performance
Candidates should remember that the exact format in which the information is displayed will depend on the NBEMS notification and online portal.
How Will NEET PG Questions and Answers Be Displayed?
Candidates should be aware that computer-based examinations can use shuffled question and option sequences.
In the previous NEET PG answer-key procedure, NBEMS explained that questions, correct answers and candidate responses were displayed according to the sequence of the master set of the question paper because the sequence of questions and options could differ between candidates.
Therefore, candidates should not become concerned if the order displayed in the answer-key system differs from what they remember seeing during the examination.
The official NBEMS display should be used for comparison.
NEET PG Marking Scheme 2026
Candidates calculating their probable NEET PG performance should use only the marking scheme prescribed for the examination.
Instead of relying on unofficial score calculators, students should compare their recorded responses with the official answers and then apply the evaluation rules specified by NBEMS.
| Response Type | Candidate Should Check |
|---|---|
| Correct Response | Marks according to official evaluation scheme |
| Incorrect Response | Applicable negative marking |
| Unanswered Question | Treatment under official marking rules |
| Candidate Response | Option recorded by the examination system |
| Correct Answer | Answer published by NBEMS |
Candidates should refer to the NEET PG 2026 Information Bulletin for the exact evaluation scheme applicable to their examination.
NEET PG Answer Key vs Response Sheet

|---|---|
| NEET PG Answer Key | Shows the correct answer |
| Candidate Response | Shows the option selected by the candidate |
| Question Details | Helps identify the corresponding question |
| Marks/Score Information | Shows evaluation information where provided |
| NEET PG Result | Provides the official examination outcome |
Comparing the correct answers with the recorded responses allows candidates to better understand their examination performance.
Why Is NEET PG Answer Key Important?

The answer key can help candidates:
Check correct answers

Maintain examination records
Candidates should rely on the official NBEMS answer key rather than memory-based answer keys prepared by coaching institutes.
NEET PG Official Answer Key vs Unofficial Answer Key
Soon after major entrance examinations, coaching institutions and education websites sometimes publish memory-based solutions.
These should not be confused with the official NEET PG answer key.
| Official NBEMS Answer Key | Unofficial Answer Key |
|---|---|
| Published by NBEMS | Prepared by third parties |
| Official examination information | Usually memory-based |
| Used for authoritative reference | Only useful for rough analysis |
