Assam state counselling is conducted for eligible candidates seeking postgraduate medical seats under the state's 50% quota. Applicants must satisfy the applicable NEET PG qualifying requirements and the state counselling eligibility conditions.

According to the reported counselling update, candidates must ensure that their name and NEET PG 2026 roll number appear on the relevant Assam state provisional merit list. Candidates should also check whether their category, eligibility status or any applicable incentive marks have been correctly reflected in the published documents.
