The admission site for St. Xavier's College was opened within two weeks of the announcement of the ISC results. The deadline for applications to be submitted for undergraduate courses is June 3. The dates of the admission tests and the deadlines for submissions have also been issued by Ramakrishna Mission Residential College and Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara. While they have not yet announced their final submission deadlines, a number of other minority colleges, including Women's Christian College, Scottish Church College, and St. Paul's Cathedral Mission College, are steadily collecting applications.
St. Xavier's has set June 3 as the deadline for application submissions, even with the UG site closed.
According to sources, these colleges are waiting on word from the department of higher education. "Our admission portal has been open for more than a week, but we have received only a few applications," stated a representative of one college. Students who anticipated a centralized submission method could be perplexed.

Beginning with the current academic year, the state administration of higher education is aiming to establish a consolidated admissions process for universities that receive state funding. Private, autonomous, and minority colleges are not subject to this procedure, though.
Scottish Church College is taking a novel way to reduce confusion surrounding admissions by creating a film ahead of time for the admissions season. According to the video, the college will handle admissions on its own, separate from the centralized approach. "This initiative is aimed at helping students make informed decisions and ensuring a smooth admissions process for those interested in applying to Scottish Church College," stated Principal Madhumanjari Mandal.
