IOQM Result 2026: RMO Cutoffs Released; Certificate Cutoffs Pending
The IOQM 2026 score update is available through the official student login, and the region-wise cutoffs for qualification to the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) have been published. Students can check their individual scores and qualification status on the IOQM portal. Cutoffs for national and regional certificates are still pending, according to the latest announcement.
The RMO cutoff is the score threshold for advancing from IOQM to the next examination stage. It varies by region and student category, so a single all-India cutoff does not apply. The published table separates Category A students in Classes 8 to 11, an additional girls’ quota within Category A, and Category B students in Class 12.

The RMO selection criteria also require students to meet the minimum score condition: at least 10% of the total IOQM marks. Meeting that minimum alone does not guarantee qualification. Selection is based on regional rank, category and the notified quotas. Category A girls have an additional regional quota; there is no separate girls’ quota for Category B.
How to check IOQM score and qualification status
- Open the official IOQM 2026 portal and select Student Login.
- Log in using the enrollment number and date of birth.
- Review the score and the qualification status shown on the dashboard.
- Compare the score with the cutoff for the correct region and category.
- Follow the portal’s instructions for RMO registration if selected.
The score-challenge window closed on October 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The portal says score challenges had to be submitted through Student Login; challenges by email were not accepted. Students should continue to monitor official notices for certificate cutoffs and subsequent stage instructions.
