What Is the AIIMS NORCET 11 Selection Process?
AIIMS NORCET 11 selection is conducted through two successive computer-based examinations:
- Stage 1: NORCET Preliminary examination – This is a qualifying examination and its score is not used for preparing the final merit rank.
- Stage 2: NORCET Main examination – The Stage 2 score is used for preparing the merit list and further institute or hospital allocation, subject to eligibility and document verification.
Candidates who meet the qualifying standard in Stage 1 are shortlisted for Stage 2. The number of candidates called for the Main examination is generally linked to the available seats in each category. Qualified candidates may also be required to submit institute or hospital preferences before allocation.
