How the Final Merit List Was Prepared

The selection process used candidates’ normalised written examination scores, marks for applicable preferential qualifications and district-wise merit, subject to reservation rules. The board published district-wise selection and cutoff information. The recruitment notice states that final enrolment remains subject to applicable checks, including medical fitness, educational and preferential qualification documents, reservation certificates and character verification.

Therefore, selection in the published result should not be treated as completion of every enrolment formality. Selected candidates should monitor UPPRPB and Home Guards department updates for instructions about verification and any further steps.
