IIT Guwahati MTech Rural Technology 5th Merit List 2026 Released
IIT Guwahati released the fifth merit list for admission to its MTech Rural Technology programme for the July 2026 session on June 30. At the time, selected candidates were asked to confirm admission by paying the required fee through the institute’s admission portal by 11:59 p.m. on July 2. That payment deadline has passed, so this is a historical admission update rather than an open offer to pay fees now.
The MTech Rural Technology programme is listed by IIT Guwahati under its Agro and Rural Technology division. The institute describes its MTech programmes as two-year courses. Candidates who applied for the July 2026 intake can sign in to the application portal to review any information still available in their dashboard. For current admission notices, use IIT Guwahati’s official admissions page.

Important Points for Applicants
- The fifth merit list related to the July 2026 intake, not a future admission cycle.
- The fee-payment deadline reported for selected candidates was July 2, 2026; it should not be treated as a current deadline.
- IIT Guwahati later listed a spot-admission notice for MTech programmes dated July 15, 2026. Applicants should consult the institute’s notices for the relevant rules and status.
- Do not rely on an old result link or make a payment based on an unofficial page. Confirm any remaining action directly with IIT Guwahati.
