West Bengal Madhyamik Routine 2027: Check Class 10 Exam Dates and Timings
The West Bengal Madhyamik Routine 2027 has been announced, giving Class 10 students a clear schedule for their board examination preparation. The examinations will begin on February 15, 2027, and continue until February 25, 2027. First Language opens the examination schedule, while optional elective subjects are scheduled for the final day.
Students can now organise revision around the actual gaps between papers. With Mathematics, Physical Science and Life Science scheduled on consecutive days, completing the main preparation for these subjects before the examinations begin will be particularly useful.

Exam Timings and Question Paper Reading Time
For the main papers, the examination session runs from 10:45 am to 2:00 pm. The first 15 minutes, from 10:45 am to 11:00 am, are reserved for reading the question paper. Writing begins at 11:00 am.
Students should use the reading period to understand instructions, review internal choices and plan their answers. Practising this routine during mock examinations can help improve time management.

- Other optional elective subjects: 10:45 am to 2:00 pm.
Dates for Physical Education and Social Service, and Work Education, will be announced separately. Students should also obtain the applicable practical examination instructions from their schools.
How to Check the Madhyamik Routine 2027
- Visit the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education website.
- Find the Madhyamik examination routine section.
- Open the timetable labelled for the 2027 examination.
- Save a copy and mark the papers relevant to your subject combination.
Turn the Timetable Into a Revision Plan
The schedule leaves February 17 available before History and February 20–21 before Mathematics. Use these gaps for revision and practice rather than relying on them to finish untouched chapters.
- Languages: Practise writing tasks and revise common grammar errors.
- History and Geography: Prepare concise notes and practise maps where applicable.
- Mathematics: Maintain an error notebook and revisit difficult problems.
- Science: Revise formulas, diagrams and explanations before the examination week.
Keep a weekly checklist that balances weaker topics with timed practice. After each practice paper, identify why marks were lost and revisit those areas. Before examination day, check your admit card, permitted materials and travel arrangements. Continue checking school communications for any formally announced changes to the routine.
