What Is Shillong Teer?
Shillong Teer is an archery-based number game associated with Meghalaya.
Instead of using a conventional lottery draw machine, participating archers shoot arrows at a target.
The winning result is derived from the number of arrows hitting the target during the designated round.
The regular Shillong Teer game consists of two principal rounds:
First Round or FR
Second Round or SR
Each result is represented by a two-digit number between:
00 and 99
Shillong Teer First Round Result Today
The First Round is commonly referred to as:
FR
Recent Shillong Teer trackers place the result around 4:15 PM.
The correct status before completion of today's draw is:
Shillong Teer FR August 12: Awaited
Players should not use yesterday's number as today's FR result.
Shillong Teer Second Round Result Today
The Second Round is known as:
SR
It follows the First Round and is generally announced around 5:10 PM on current result trackers.
Current status:
Shillong Teer SR August 12: Awaited
The Second Round number is independent of the FR result.
How to Check Shillong Teer Result Today
Once each round is completed:
Open a current Shillong Teer result source.
Confirm the date is August 12, 2026.
Select the regular Shillong Teer game.
Check the First Round number after the FR draw.
Return after the Second Round draw.
Check the SR winning number.
Verify that the numbers belong to August 12 rather than the previous date.
Checking the date is important because many live-result pages continue displaying the most recent completed draw until today's numbers become available.
Shillong Teer Result Timing
The commonly listed regular Shillong Teer schedule is:
| Round | Approximate Result Time |
|---|---|
| First Round | 4:15 PM |
| Second Round | 5:10 PM |
One live Shillong Teer source lists these exact FR and SR timings.
Another current results service likewise lists the Shillong Teer rounds at 4:15 PM and 5:10 PM.
Some websites can show slightly different timings, so players should allow for small variations.
Why Different Shillong Teer Websites Show Different Times
Result portals do not always use identical published times.
Some may list:
4:00 PM
4:15 PM
4:25 PM
for the First Round.
Likewise, SR may appear as:
5:00 PM
5:10 PM
5:15 PM
This can happen because one site lists the expected draw time while another records the approximate result-update time.
For readers, the important point is that the regular August 12 afternoon results are not available before the draw takes place.
Shillong Morning Teer Is Different
Players searching online may also see:
Shillong Morning Teer
This is a separate draw from the regular afternoon Shillong Teer.
Current result sites distinguish the morning game from the regular afternoon FR/SR draw.
Therefore, a morning winning number should not be published as the regular Shillong Teer FR or SR result.
Shillong Teer vs Juwai and Khanapara Teer
Several regional Teer games can appear together on live-result websites.
These include:
Shillong Teer
Juwai Teer
Khanapara Teer
Shillong Morning Teer
Night Teer
Each game has its own draw and winning numbers.
A reader searching specifically for Shillong Teer August 12 result should make sure the number comes from the regular Shillong game.
How Are Shillong Teer Winning Numbers Decided?
Participants shoot arrows at a target during each round.
The applicable count of arrows hitting the target is used to derive the two-digit winning number.
For example, if the relevant arrow count ends in:
42
the result is represented as:
42
The exact draw mechanics are governed by the Teer system under which the round is conducted.
Can Past Results Predict Today's Number?
No reliable method can predict today's winning number from previous results.
Websites may publish:
Common numbers
Dream numbers
Hit numbers
House numbers
Ending numbers
Predictions
These are speculative.
They should never be presented as the actual Shillong Teer result.
Prediction vs Confirmed Result
Prediction
A suggested number published before the draw.
Confirmed Result
The number declared after the archery round has concluded.
A news-result page should clearly separate the two.
For August 12, the regular FR and SR numbers remain:
Awaited
until the respective draws occur.
What to Check Before Publishing a Shillong Teer Number
Before adding a number to a live result article, verify:
Date: August 12, 2026
Game: Regular Shillong Teer
Round: FR or SR
Draw completed: Yes
Number belongs to today: Yes
This avoids accidentally carrying over yesterday's winning numbers.
Why Previous-Day Numbers Often Appear in Search Results
Search engines can display cached or recently indexed result pages.
A website titled “Shillong Teer Result Today” may still contain an older date until its live page is updated.
This means writers should not copy the first visible two-digit number without checking the date.
Shillong Teer Result Is Updated Round by Round
Today's page should be treated as a live article.
Before FR:
FR – Awaited
SR – Awaited
After FR:
FR – Winning number announced
SR – Awaited
After SR:
FR – Final number
SR – Final number
This is the safest format for live-result coverage.
