Candidates should remember that inclusion in the merit list is not the same as receiving an MBBS or BDS seat.
Manipur NEET Rank List 2026 Official Website

Details Mentioned in Manipur NEET Rank List 2026
Candidates should check the applicable information appearing in the merit list, which can include:
- Candidate name
- NEET UG details
- NEET rank
- State merit/rank
- Category
- Counselling information
- Eligibility/allotment-related information
Candidates should compare their details with their submitted counselling application.
Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026-27
The Directorate of Health Services has formally initiated the Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026-27 process.
The official August 2026 notifications include technical instructions, the Round 1 government-seat matrix and documents required for counselling.
Candidates should therefore read the official counselling documents alongside the merit list rather than relying only on the rank PDF.
Manipur NEET Round 1 Seat Matrix 2026
DHS Manipur has already published the Final Seat Matrix of State Government Seats for the First Round of NEET UG Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026-27.
Candidates should check the seat matrix before evaluating their admission chances.
The matrix is important because allotment depends on the actual number and type of seats available during the round.
Manipur NEET Government Quota Merit List 2026
The counselling process covers applicable state government quota seats.
For comparison, in the previous admission cycle DHS Manipur released separate merit information relating to government quota and other applicable seat categories.
Candidates should therefore check the exact heading of the 2026 PDF to ensure that they are viewing the list applicable to their candidature.
Manipur NEET MBBS Admission 2026
Candidates seeking MBBS admission should understand that the merit list is only one stage of counselling.
Actual MBBS allotment depends broadly on:
NEET Performance + State Merit + Category/Quota + Candidate Choices + Seat Availability + Counselling Rules
A candidate can therefore appear in the Manipur NEET merit list without receiving an MBBS seat in Round 1.
Manipur NEET BDS Admission 2026
Eligible candidates seeking BDS admission should similarly check the applicable dental-seat availability and counselling rules.
Candidates willing to consider both MBBS and BDS should arrange their choices according to their genuine preference when the applicable option-entry facility is available.
Manipur NEET Rank List vs Seat Allotment
| Rank/Merit List | Seat Allotment |
|---|---|
| Shows candidate's merit position | Assigns college/course |
| Round 1 list due August 21 | Released after allotment processing |
| Used for counselling | Used for admission |
| Does not guarantee a seat | Provides an allotment where successful |
| Based on applicable merit rules | Depends on merit, choices and available seats |
Therefore:
Name in Manipur NEET Rank List ≠ MBBS/BDS Seat Confirmed
Manipur NEET Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026
Candidates included in the rank list should next monitor the official portal for the Round 1 seat-allotment result and associated instructions.
Seat allotment will depend on the applicable counselling rules and available seats.
Candidates receiving a seat should carefully check:
College → Course → Quota/Category → Reporting Deadline → Documents → Fee Requirements
Manipur NEET Counselling Documents 2026
DHS Manipur has published a specific notification regarding documents to be submitted for the 2026 medical e-counselling process.
Candidates should check that official notice for the definitive requirements. Applicable documents can include NEET UG records, educational certificates, identity documents and category/reservation certificates relevant to the candidate.
Candidates should keep originals and required copies organised before reporting.
What After Manipur NEET Merit List 2026?
After downloading the rank list, candidates should:
- Check whether their name/details appear.
- Verify their merit position.
- Check the applicable quota/category.
- Review the Round 1 seat matrix.
- Read the technical counselling instructions.
- Keep counselling credentials ready.
- Monitor the Round 1 allotment result.
- Keep original admission documents organised.
- Check reporting deadlines after allotment.
- Follow only DHS Manipur instructions.
What If Your Name Is Missing From the Manipur NEET Rank List?
Candidates who expected to appear in the merit list but cannot find their details should first verify that they have opened the correct 2026 Round 1 PDF.
They should then check:
Registration Status → Eligibility → NEET Details → Candidate Category → Submitted Documents → Correct Merit List
If a genuine discrepancy exists, candidates should follow any representation or grievance mechanism specified by DHS Manipur.
Manipur NEET Cutoff 2026
The actual Manipur NEET 2026 admission cutoffs will emerge through the counselling process.
Closing ranks can vary according to:
- College
- Course
- Candidate category
- Seat quota
- Available seats
- Candidate preferences
- Counselling round
Candidates should therefore avoid treating the merit-list rank itself as a college-specific cutoff.
Manipur NEET 2026: Government vs Management Seats
Candidates should pay attention to the seat category under which they are participating.
In the previous cycle, Manipur published separate merit lists for State Government quota seats and Management Quota seats in applicable counselling rounds.
The candidate should always use the 2026 list corresponding to the applicable quota and round.
Manipur NEET Counselling 2026: Common Mistakes to Avoid
Candidates should avoid:
- Downloading the 2025 merit list instead of the 2026 PDF.
- Treating merit-list inclusion as confirmed admission.
- Ignoring the Round 1 seat matrix.
- Confusing NEET AIR with the applicable state merit position.
- Checking the wrong quota list.
- Missing counselling notices after merit-list publication.
- Ignoring official technical instructions.
- Using unofficial websites for counselling login.
- Losing counselling credentials.
- Missing the Round 1 allotment result.
