Himachal Pradesh NEET UG 2026 Round 3 MBBS, BDS Merit List Published

Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh has published the provisional merit list for the third round of NEET UG Counselling 2026 for MBBS and BDS admissions. Candidates who completed fresh registration for Round 3 can now review their merit position before the final merit list and subsequent choice-filling process.

The third counselling round covers admission to MBBS and BDS seats available under the Himachal Pradesh state counselling process. AMRU is conducting the centralised admission process on behalf of the state government using NEET UG 2026 scores and applicable eligibility, domicile, quota and reservation rules.

What Does the Round 3 Merit List Show?

The merit list allows candidates to check their position in the counselling pool before preferences are submitted for the available MBBS and BDS seats. Inclusion in the merit list does not itself mean that a medical or dental seat has been allotted.

Actual admission will depend on the final merit position, category, available seats and the order in which candidates arrange their college, course and quota choices during the preference-filling period.

What Candidates Should Do After the Merit List

• Check the merit list carefully for candidate details and merit position.
• Verify that the category and quota information shown is correct.
• Monitor the final merit list scheduled for September 30.
• Check the Round 3 vacancy position on October 1.
• Review available MBBS and BDS colleges before filling choices.
• Arrange colleges and courses in genuine order of preference.
• Complete and lock choices between October 1 and October 4.
• Save a copy of the submitted preferences for future reference.

Round 3 Choice Filling Begins October 1

Once the final merit list and vacancy position are available, candidates will be able to submit their course, college and quota preferences. Choice filling will remain open from October 1 to October 4.

Candidates should study the vacancy matrix before locking their choices because seat availability may differ from earlier rounds. Seats can become available because of non-reporting, withdrawal, upgradation or other changes following previous counselling stages.

When Will HP NEET Round 3 Seat Allotment Be Released?

The provisional allocation will provide an initial indication of the seat offered according to merit and preferences. Candidates should wait for the final allocation before completing the admission process according to AMRU instructions.

Documents Candidates Should Keep Ready

• NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard.
• Class 10 and Class 12 certificates and mark sheets.
• Valid photo identity proof.
• Domicile or eligibility documents where applicable.
• Category certificate for reserved-category candidates.
• PwD certificate where applicable.
• Recent photographs and other documents specified by AMRU.

Candidates who receive a seat in the final Round 3 allocation will need to report to the allotted medical or dental college on October 12 or 13 and complete document verification, fee payment and other admission formalities. Failure to report within the prescribed period may affect the allotted seat.
