NEET PG Counselling 2026: Round 1 Choice Filling and Locking Extended to October 22
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the NEET PG 2026 Round 1 choice-filling and choice-locking facility until 12:00 noon on October 22. The extension gives registered candidates additional time to review their postgraduate course and college preferences before Round 1 seat allotment. MCC’s official PG counselling page says the facility is available until noon; candidates should complete the process through the MCC portal before that deadline.
The original schedule had set an earlier closing time for choice locking. MCC’s latest update supersedes that timing and confirms the extended deadline. Candidates should check their saved choices in the portal and make sure they complete the final locking step. Choices that are not locked may not be considered in the way candidates intend during seat processing.
