SRM-AP Enters THE World University Rankings 2027, Debuts in 1001–1200 Global Band

SRM University-AP has entered the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings for the first time, securing a position in the 1001–1200 band in the 2027 edition. The Amaravati-based private university announced the milestone on September 30, 2026, following publication of THE's latest global university rankings.

The university was established in 2017, making its entry into the global ranking less than a decade after its foundation. SRM-AP said the 2027 cycle was its first submission to the THE World University Rankings, giving the institution a new international benchmark for assessing its teaching, research, global engagement and industry-related performance.

SRM-AP has not been assigned one exact position such as 1,050 or 1,100. Times Higher Education groups universities outside the highest positions into ranking bands, meaning SRM-AP is placed collectively among institutions ranked in the 1001–1200 range.
