Indian Talent Olympiad 2026–27 Schedule Out: Check Exam Dates and October Registration Deadlines
Students planning to participate in the Indian Talent Olympiad can now review the 2026–27 examination schedule. The calendar separates school-based offline examinations from individually registered online tests, so families should first confirm which participation route applies to them.
Two upcoming registration dates deserve attention: October 10, 2026, for offline school Set B and October 30, 2026, for annual online Slot 1. These deadlines belong to different exam arrangements and should not be used interchangeably.
ITO Annual Online Exam Dates: Round 1
The annual online schedule offers two slots. The published dates remain tentative, with the final schedule due to be updated 20 days before the examinations. Students should recheck their selected subject before making final arrangements.

Online Test Timing and Duration
The annual online examination window is listed as 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. IST. This is the access window, not the time allowed to complete a test. Classes 1–4 have 35 questions in 30 minutes; Classes 5–10 have 50 questions in 45 minutes.
Students select an online slot during registration, and the published instructions state that the selected slot cannot subsequently be changed. Check school assessments, travel plans, and other commitments before choosing.
Registration Checklist for Students and Parents
- Confirm whether registration is individual or through the school.
- Check class eligibility for each selected subject and exam mode.
- Record the relevant deadline separately from the examination date.
- Review the student’s name, class, and subject choices before submission.
- Keep the registration confirmation and payment acknowledgment accessible.
- For online participation, check login access and device readiness beforehand.
How to Plan Preparation Around the Schedule
Build a short revision plan for each chosen subject rather than treating every Olympiad as one combined examination. Begin with the class-specific syllabus, identify unfamiliar topics, and practice a small set of questions regularly.
Closer to the examination, use timed practice to improve pacing. Review incorrect answers and distinguish knowledge gaps from avoidable reading or calculation mistakes. Younger students may benefit from practicing the test interface with a parent before attempting the examination independently.
Keep one calendar showing registration, revision, and examination dates. Students entering multiple subjects should also check consecutive test days so that preparation time is distributed sensibly across the schedule.
