Germany does not use “diploma courses” in the same way as India. For practical career-focused study after Class 12, the closest option is usually Ausbildung, which combines vocational-school learning with workplace training. Popular fields include nursing, IT, mechatronics, electronics, automotive technology, logistics, hospitality, culinary arts, and business administration. Many dual Ausbildung programs charge no tuition and pay trainees a monthly salary, but German proficiency—usually around B1 or B2—is important. Students should compare the training type, salary, living costs, visa requirements, and long-term career prospects before applying.
