Central University of Himachal Pradesh Admission Process 2024:

Candidates must follow the admission process to get into Central University's courses. CHUP admission process includes multiple steps such as, CUET, CHUP Application Process, CUET Counselling, CHUP Seat allotment, and CHUP Fee Payment. Find below the step-wise admission process:

STEP 1: CUET Application Process

This central university accepts CUET scores for admission to UG, PG, and certificate programmes. Central University of Himachal Pradesh admission through CUET involves CUET registration, appearing for the exam, result declaration, CUHP registration for counselling, and release of merit/allotment list.

STEP 2: Register on the CUHP Admission Portal

Now, candidates need to register on the CUHP Samarth portal (www.cuhimachalcuet.samarth.edu.in) and fill out the online application form. After fillin out the form, upload the required documents and pay the fee.

STEP 3: CHUP Merit List

The application form will be scrutinised and shortlisted for further admission process. CHIUP category-wise merit list based on the applicant's CUET score and choices filled in during registration. Candidates are therefore required to keep checking the CHUP official website.

STEP 4: Fee Payment & Document Verification

• The Department of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, has launched the e-PASS (Electronic Payment & Application System of Scholarships) software, a project for maintaining an online system of scholarships for Himachal Pradesh, sponsored by the Department of Information Technology (DIT), Govt. of India.
• The e-Pass will be quite useful ensuring that the Scholarship Amount actually goes to the genuine beneficiary in a time bound manner as he/she will not have to wait for any Cheque / Draft to avail the Scholarship Benefits. e-Pass will also minimise the possible chance of any duplicity/double payment. All beneficiaries studying outside the state will also be benefitted by the e-Pass, as they can apply online for the Scholarship Schemes, through the given website, from anywhere. e-Pass goes with the demand of the time of Computerization and it minimises huge expenditure on stationery, etc.
• Students joining courses at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh can avail scholarships based on high performance in examinations. Such students will have their full tuition fee reimbursed by CUHP.
• Students who fall into a category of low family income (less than Rs. 2 Lakh) are also granted waivers and scholarships during their course of study.
