Who Is Eligible for the Special Examination?
The special examinations are intended for eligible Class 12 candidates whose relevant subjects could not be conducted during the regular examination period in the covered West Asian countries. Eligibility depends on the conditions and candidate details specified in CBSE's earlier notifications and the submitted List of Candidates (LOC).
The special examination is not a general additional examination open to every Class 12 student. Candidates who did not complete the required application process should not assume they can register now. They should contact their school or the relevant CBSE office if they need clarification about their eligibility.
How to Download the CBSE Special Exam Admit Card
- Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
- Open the relevant examination or admit-card notification.
- Use the same login through which the special examination application was submitted.
- Download the admit card and check the candidate's name, subject, examination date and centre details.
- Contact the school or the designated CBSE office promptly if any information appears incorrect.
CBSE has instructed eligible candidates to download their admit cards from October 12, 2026, onwards through their application login.
Important Instructions for Students
Students should keep a copy of their admit card, prepare according to the subject-wise schedule and follow all examination-day instructions. They should verify the examination centre and reporting requirements in advance, particularly because the special arrangement uses designated centres in the covered countries.
For the latest updates, candidates should rely on the official CBSE website and communications from their schools. The published timetable should be treated as the reference for examination dates, while the admit card and official instructions provide the candidate-specific details needed before appearing for the paper.
